Who said bearded men don't do music better.
Probably no one, but i like to think someone did.

Even though all Dark Arts member lack in facial hair, they still performed the best they have since they have been together. They still astonish me with the amount of new songs they keep on whipping up time and time again. And the songs are getting more and more outstanding.

John Steel Singers with their large array of musical instruments and the large amount of band members did not disappoint. Their energetic onstage antics, combined with the enormous amount of music talent graced Karova with broken ear drums.

Well the Philly Jays did not disappoint. Even though they got off to a rocky start, with their first song was performed with no keys ( thanks sound man), all three members continued to surprise the audience with their intensity and wild dance moves.
I enjoyed the fact that joining Berkfinger and MC Bad Genius was a 54 year-old African American drummer ‘Calvin’. He was the entertainment for the night.

All in all, i have learnt one thing from this night, The Philly Jay's do like to party.

the philly jay's (philadelphia grand jury) are headed to the somewhat better half of victoria for there 'we don't want to party (party) tour.
and to kick off their HUGE (three show) tour, they are headed to my home town, Ballarat. Better know was 'The Rat'.
They will be playing at Karova TONIGHT. With a local four piece band supporting them.
This band is known for their Harry Potter influenced band name,Dark Arts and their lyrics that are quite often written about girls. Don't be fooled by their name, they are far from dark.
So don't take my word for it. Head down to Karova tonight at 9:30ish to check out this fantastic new up and coming band.
Oh and the Philly Jays, and John Steel Singers.

HW

Well lets face it, it's three days until school goes back, and the pile of homework still hasn't been touch, and nor has it even been slightly glanced at.
Maybe today will be the day that i whip out the old folios i have neglected for the past 2 weeks. But i highly doubt it.
And tomorrow, i will forget about the homework again, and rail it to melbourne.
Here i will drink litres of coffee to the point where my hands are shaking uncontrollably, sit as i watch all the bearded, curly haired men walk past, and i might do the occasional shop. But don't count on it.

P.s yesterday at 12:46pm Camilla Nicholls bought a floor ticket to the strokes.
Jealous, i think so.

i am ever so sorry that i have somewhat neglected my blog for quite some time.
i have been quite busy with my schooling and what not, and have completely forgotten about the blogging community, and the lovely followers of mine.
feel free to verbally abuse me, i deserve it.

Hana Liden

If i were to pinpoint the one photographer that inspires me most at this point in time, i would have to say it would be Hana Liden.

Her imagination is full of deep dark fantasies, that most people wish to have.
I can not begin to comprehend how much i envy her endless supply of creativity.

DETOX.

After two weeks of nonstop fiesta’s and what not, I’m now horribly run down and clearly not getting better anytime soon.
So I have come to the painful conclusion.
DETOX
I’m sorry but it feels like I’ve been beaten multiple times with mace and nun chucks.

So for the next month, I will endure weekend’s full knitting wee little booties and hour upon hour of baking scones and crumpets for the children down the lane.

Sigh no more Camilla, sigh no more.

So this weekend i have already turned down a shindig. And now i have been left with sex in the city, and homework by the truck load.

Oh, and when i die, i will be reincarnated with my darling J.D

Why are certain people higher up in life then others?
ANSWER-To be perfectly honest, i have no idea. And i'm not liking it one bit.

Lack of sleep has finally caught up on me.
So i thought i'd sit down with an overly large blanket, with a hot mouth burning cup of hot chocolate and watch endless hours of sex in the city.
Oh wait, i forgot, i live in Australia and its the hottest time of the year.
All hopes and desires are now just lost images in my mind.
Tear Tear.

All in all, it was fine.

I OH YOU house party.

This week has sped fast ever so quickly, and i'm loving it.
What with withstanding the intensity of girl talk's fans ( and a shit load of wankers), whilst being pummelled to the ground therefore injuring my other knee.
Crying during The Middle East.
Shamelessly, but with no regrets walking behind Faris Badwan (lead singer of The Horrors) tapping him on the shoulder and having a never-too-close-for-comforts photo with him, and two of my lovely friends.
Finally, i started my holidays homework.
Exhibition opening was a great success. Thanks to the lovely Kelly at Dear Prudence.

And to finish off my slightly dull, but finally became a lot better holidays..
Cocktail party with the girls. I'm just glad that there wont be any eskys to tumble over.
&House party tomorrow night in Melbourne.

I will write something decent sooner rather then later.

Today i enjoyed glueing magazine clippings to my brothers face.
Tomorrow i will enjoy watching live music in the sweltering heat.

tea for three.

I'm no precious sissy girl, with a fairy bed and wings to match, but i do adore collecting tiny china cups, tea pots etc.
There is something about the immaculate amount of detail that goes into the art work on each ceramic surface.
Its somewhat fascinating.
Maybe i'm the crazy cat ladies younger sister.
She collects overly obese cats, i collect insignificant pieces of kitchenware, that serve to purpose to anyone.
